Windsor Architectural Woodworking
Malden, Massachusetts
Windsor is located in a 25,000 square foot, ground
level facility in Malden, Massachusetts. We have been at this location
since 2000 when we moved from a 10,000 square foot mill building where we
were on the third floor. The move not only enabled us to become more
efficient due to the fact that we are now on the ground level, but it
enabled us to purchase state-of-the-art equipment to better manufacture our
case goods giving you, the customer, the highest quality possible.
Here, you can take a virtual tour of our facility. This page
highlights some of the state-of-the-art equipment that we will use to
produce your project. Some of the equipment also has a video clip
associated with it, so be sure to click on the button to download and view
the video. Some videos are longer than others, and they will
open in a separate window once downloaded.

HP 3000 Case Clamps
We utilize two case clamp stations for efficient assembly. Once the
cabinet parts are ready, they are assembled and bonded with high strength
glue. This glue is set in a high pressure clamp until fully bonded.
From there your cabinets go on to our finishing department, have any
hardware installed and are shipped to you - on time.
Schelling FXH-430 CNC Panel Saw
This saw has the ability to cut up to five sheets of plywood at a time.

Busellato Jet 3006 Machining Center
As parts are cut, they travel from the edgebander to the Busellato machining
center where a program is called up using a bar-code scan. The program
has followed the part via our network from the office to the Schelling and
now here. Once called up - this machine knows what part it is and
consequently what to do to it - whether it's drilling, routing etc...
Gannomat Elite 25 8-Station Dowel Inserting System
Just before assembly, our parts get doweled for strength. This
8-station machine drills and inserts the dowels in up to 8 pre-selected
stations depending on what part is being machined.

wood veneer.
Timesaver Series 2300 Sander

perfect before it goes to assembly.
Tractivity
This is the heart of our job cost system. Each employee is assigned a
personal data collector (PDC) that they use to simply punch in the job they
are working on and the task they are performing. At the end of the day
when they dock their units, the data is downloaded into our system.
From there we receive a host of reports that we can track the progress of a
job, check actual costs for more competitive pricing, we even use this
system for our payroll data collection.
